Fantastic afternoon on the water. John and I started about 2pm with Rick, just as Andrew was coming in. After an hour it really came through. Not so gusty and reasonably flat. I caught a lucky gust along the runway with a 34, but try as I might I couldn't beat it.
The Rocket is just such an amazing board. Fast and so easy to ride in the chop. Lovin' the Rocket and Severne R8 Overdrive. Such a good combination.... just like steak and chips, bacon and egg, cheese and crackers, vegimite and toast, bangers and mash, pork and apple sauce, and my favorite popcorn and butter. Damn.... I'm hungry ;)
Great to sail with teamies, Barks, Dieter, John and Craig. Plenty of others out too.

Launched from Packers Point again. Jamie also turned up lured by the forecast. Awesome day, pure intensity and fun, I think I did more planing jibes today than in my whole windsurfing career, did not care if they were too wide, too much fun.
