Dorans, TAS, AU   2017 iSonic 87, 2017 Overdrive 6.2, Tribal MK1 32cm.

Heaps of people out sailing.  Not much wind at first, but then it came in and was pretty windy at times and swinging quite a bit from the NW to the SW.  First good sail on the new gear, which has taken a bit of tuning with new sail, mast, boom, board and fin!  A little less downhaul with the new mast opened up the sail a bit and provided more power - thanks for the tip Russ!!  Tried for a 1hr, but wind was just too up and down.

5.6 OD R6  80 iS  28 Venom

Bit of an up & down sail and lots of changes in wind direction cause very bumpy water. Some good gusts came through though.

Henty, TAS, AU, A great trip to Henty with Ben and Perks. Had a few issues getting in to the rigging spot today, got stuck a few times then rolled the tyre off the rim. Lost an hour or so there but all good in the end.

Did 2 runs to start before going for an Hr. Lost a bit of time at the end when the wind went swung too much to sail back up the run but it was probably at the 55 min. mark so not too costly.

Really happy with the nm and only just survived it as the wind was gusting well over 30kn.

Isonic 90, R8 7.0, CLSL132

Great adventure with Cookie and Perks. One of the best sessions I have had at Henty, hardly any walking and a good mix of strength and angle.

Well done on the fantastic numbers guys!

Thanks for the ride Cookie.

Thanks guys, you never know what you are going to get sailing at the Henty (driving there the temp got down to 6.5 C). A lot of the time it can be too broard, then when it does change

direction the wind strenght drops as it did on the previous trip. This time it was square to start with and a good strenght (22 to 25kn) however on the

first run it hailed all the way down. After that we just had the usual west coast weather of sun followed by rain scuds then sun again. Later in the day the wind swung more to the south at times and picked up in strenght this made it easier for a faster nm. Had a peak of 42 on my best nm run and just glad i made it to the end.

Great hour in those conditions Perks, and glad you got another 30 nm Ben
