Mid afternoon short sail, started off a peaceful cruisey sail that quickly turned on the fans! Totally overpowered on Futura 104L, 6M Gator and 30 BP fin. But good fun though.

Got down late after work and missed the flatter water with the low tide. Rough as with the high tide but a sail is a sail.

Looked like a fizza at lunch so went home  and got my big boards. BIG mistake! Blowing by the time I got back. Gusts to 37 knots at the Seaway, high tide and barely hanging onto a 6.2 while trying to keep the 105L speed board on the water. Almost fun, but couldnt help but thinking I am getting too old for these conditions.
