Kenny (16394km): Point Walter, WA, AU Nice morning sail in a pretty consistent south easterly when it was blowing. reflex 6.2, 97 isonic, 36 CL carbon.
Lunny (42007km): Pelican Point, WA, AU Sitting at home wondering so i thought bugger it, I'm gonna give it a go. Wind was pretty consistant for around 1hr so it was worth it. Found a nice shallow patch to perform some acrobatics, in hindsight seeing 2 guys standing knee deep probably means its shallow. Ahh well it might have looked spectacular seeing arms and legs cartwheeling across the water. M137, NP RSR4 8.6, Tribal PM 42
Windxtasy (13853km): Pelican Point, WA, AU iS111, 7.5T4 40CF 8 - 15 knots I picked the low point of the day for wind - couldn't choose when I finished work - but managed to plane most of time, just. It was hard work though, so I called it a day after half an hour, just before the gust of the afternoon came through. Doh! Made progress with getting a smooth curve in my gybes - hoping for more wind to work on that more Good (and surprising) to catch up with 'Safety Bay' Lunny at Peli Point - he was leaving as I arrived. Ok, I was desperate.
Snickers (12777km): Point Walter, WA, AU Wind was very up and down. Had to do the walk of shame then changed to a bigger board for another hour of sailing. isonic 94L then 125L Neil Pryde RS racing evo 2 7.8M Drake weed36 and Choco weed 40 |
