Great morning sail at liptons, wnderful way to start the day, joined by Pepe, Shano, Decrepit, Fangy, and I think Basil.  Fave gear.  Probably shoulda used bigger.  Mistral Speed 95/55  TR9 6.3m Pepeweed 6.3m

Liptons with Hards, Pepe, Shane, Decrepit, with Fin and Otts joining just as I finished.

Seems like forever since I last had a sail. Just magnificent morning to be alive and cruising up and down the Ward Point bank. Had the Vintage Missy Screamer, Koncept 7.5 and FangyMkII 24. I really enjoyed being able to point as high as everyone else for a change ( as opposed to my glacial uphill work on the Delta), but I think the 7.5 is as big as I can go on the MkII 24

On one of my runs along Ward Point, going into the sun, I hit something reasonably solid and bounced over the top. No damage to board or fin, but an ominous creak started up in the boom head. Defying all previous examples of unreasonable optimism, I decided I had better come in before the boom and I parted company  - I will need to check that one out before I go out next!

Back on shore I got to see Pepe's Same-Same-but-different-Fangy MkII done in carbon, calcite finish. It certainly looked the goods, and I am really looking forward to seeing it in action. Cap'n Calm joined us for a quick bof(fin)ising session. The end result of that is, I think we might see a few more fillet designs in the future from those two gurus! ( certainly, it's the closest Cap'n Calm has come to a fillet of anything in a long while :-P)

Great day out with the lads, Defo Top Ten Fangy day Laughing

Woke up to some wind in the trees, but couldn't drag myself out of bed, so as usual I arrived at Liptons to see Pepe and Hardie already flying around. Plugged the 6.2 in the 53 but this time tried the 26cm 45d weedy. Along with the front footstrap further forward, this gave me better trim. Point of entry is still between the feet but the board is sitting much flater.

We were then joined by Shane and Fangy, the fin and otts were going out as I left.

Just love SE here, they might be a tad up and down, but those 2km runs in flat water are hard to beat. (well no wonder they felt like long runs, I've just measured the longest with GPSARPro and it's 2.85Km)

Johnski is planning to go out later hope there's some wind left for him!

   Peel in, WA AU.

Liptons was the place, early was the time, but I wasnt able to get away early so missed the best of it. But got to triy out the

fangy fin and things went well. Next time, more wind? to get a better feel for it.  The f2 SX-R58, the old ka kon6.6, fangfin24cm 55 weedy??

Glad the house negotiations worked out Firie. Wind here did not do as advertised. May get a bit of a sail on Sunday.  Not worth the trip from mh. I think
