Rathmines, NSW, AU. 110 Naish 6.6 Hucker. Great while it lasted. Under powered at first and then overpowered towards the end. Only a short session as the wind dropped out with the rain. Getting closer to that lake maq 30kts. Not sure if it's doable with this comination. Always feels faster in the chop and waves.

 6.6m KA - 115 Xcross - 30cms weedie

 Left it late to go down. Got to Carey bay and it was blowing 25kts with 2-3' rollers..Wasn't going to tackle that on an overpowered slalom board with a dodgy ankle so I went to Marmong..Marmong was mainly nothing with some patches of 10-18kts..small bumpy cross chop at times.Posting this the day after and the ankle isn't very happy.

 After seeing what it could do at Carey I played it safe and took the big board for the holes and a smaller sail for any stronger stuff..

 Got a few gusts at the start but really needed the 7.8m. headed off towards Bolton as it looked like more wind there. Of course it died to buggerall as I got there and a slow grovel back...grr

 I did enjoy sailing to Bolton as I haven't done that before..

Should have stayed at Carey and waited 10mins..
