Frothie (4243km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. CA 225, Maui 7.7, Delta 30. Just a quick go in super choppy conditions due to water levels, fun though. Parking at Buff Pointwas much better!!!! Thank you to Visiting team members for the polite manor they both parked (except for Steve Lydiard) But it felt great to hang with some guys and gal from Lake Mac. Congratulations to Byron and also Steve Walsh for parking with trailers over at Brandon Close. You allowed parking for both inexperienced sailers and older sailers...... Thats what its about! Great attitude shown by all, my wish is that we can continue with a better plan for the future as it has been a bit taxing on all. Love you all especially Hugh whom needed help to manually park his trailer in the pissing done rain! You are such a nice bloke. And Sue you need to join the Smugglers if your going to bring donuts but they need to be FRESH!!!! Tibor thanks for your confidents on launch? If I wasn't nervous before launching I sure was after chatting to you. HAHA!

Milos (2532km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Special thanks to Royce for helping me out with the broken mast.

Royce (1634km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Wow - What an afternoon - this day will be known as Filthy Friday - I reckon. CASL55 Simmer Speed 5.4 modified pointer fin that attracted the weed and took it along for a ride. Great to see the boys having a go, but it was ugly, for me anyway :-)
Wayno (16997km): Mungo Brush, NSW, AU Tried my luck at MB again but this time in a Southerly. HSM 6.6 JP 108 and 36cm pointer. Way too cross-offshore and gusty and rainy for anything good. Went out and came back and got rained on. Gray nomad asked me how it was and I said "Pretty ordinary" then he asked me if I was a beginner, I said "Yeah". Guess that's how it looked...... |
