talking about patchy!!!   the patchiest E E/SE that exists at Buss point. Of course its better than nothing. Actually, it came in nicely occasionally. Had to come home earlier though...going up to Burrum tomorrow...well, starting to go up. A few desperados there Like Bruce Peter Johnny Royce and the boys carving it up. Good to see them doing it dilligently as they do.

I used the isonic 97+7m+27cm weedie...going nicely when the wind was enough but of course l should have used the 7.8 like everyone else with brains {who brought it}

Rathmines, NSW, AU 5.6 Hucker 110 Naish then 93 Naish. Awesome unexpected session. Heap of fun, comination of speed and jumps. Definitely getting bigger air but still too chicken shit to throw the loop, maybe one day. Sailed with a heap of Kiters. Loved the smaller Naish board, felt faster but not sure if it really was.

Exocet RS Formula / RS6, TR8 8.4, R13 70 / Vmax 51 - Wind ESE 8-18 knots

Had some fun runs on the formula board, but wind picked up a bit so switched to the big slalom board.   Ended up overpowered at the end, would have gone down to 7.6 if I'd had the time.

Good to sail with a bunch of guys on sails between 5.5 and 8.6.   Great to see Glenn and Mick S back on the water going well after their injuries.

SE 20 knts plus one minute and down the next. It was a good workout for me as sailing short boards arn't a regular exercise. i started off on the 90 lt exocet, and wind died. Got the Fanatic 110 lt on the water then wind became too much. Last board in the quiver was my worked over mistral screamer. I  cut its nose off and poshed it up a bit last winter. It lookes a bit ...different from standard short boards but its still a joy to sail in trying conditions

 Maui tr 7 5.5 m
