5-10kts NNE - N one patch of c15kts Coal Point, NSW, AU

 Stuffed around in town filling in time as I didn't think it was blowing. Looked 10-15kts as I was rigging but got one pleasantly powered run to the sand islands and it died.

 When I turned around I realised there was a lot of north especaily the closer you got to Coal so it was a hard work ( underpowered) to get back. Set myself the challenge of getting above the point where it looked like the wind was a bit better. Took ages as I'd get headed everytime I got close to the point Plus when I finally got there the wind had died..

 Andrew came past in his boat - much better option.. Didn't give me a tow though..

 Oh well I got some gybe practises and it was pleasant in a tiring sort of way ..I should have got out earlier!
