Burrum Heads, QLD, AU

iSonic 127, OverDrive 8.6, Volt 44cm

Fantastic day sailing the northern run for the first time.  Started off light, but came in quite good, so well powered up on the 127/8.6/44/combo.  So many people on the run, but no issues and really well managed, with the marker buoys designating the run down the bank from the run back up to the top.

Went in and changed down to the 7.8 and 107 near the end of the day, but only got one slow run in as the wind had dropped!!

Poor old Steve had an unfortunate dismount and has torn a calf muscle, which needed hospital treatment, so he's now on crutches and out for the rest of the comp - what an absolute bummer ... Frown

Dorans, TAS, AU  Started on the small kit iSonic 76, Loft Lip 4.3, Select Eagle 27 in some strong wind and got the 2S, the wind tehn died and then came in gently and slowly started building so changed to the iSonic 90, Gator 6.5, MUF 34 and it was a great late afternoon/evening session with  6 or 7 out all up.
