Pipe Clay Lagoon, TAS, AU   Very brief introduction to the pond. Wind faded and changed direction as I hit the water. Tide going out too.  Pushed my luck in the  shallows in the one decent gust and hit  the sand. Fortunately  my weed fin softened the impact a little, but the mast base was ripped apart.

Long walk back to the rigging area with the rigged attached to then  board by a piece a rope. 

Looking forward to sailing there again in the  right conditions.

great day on the pond! nicely powered the whole time, wind was a bit a gusty, but the water was so flat and high enough tide so no problems sailing over the oysters :) snapped my UJ somwhere in the middle so had a long walk/swim to get home.
