Good to see somebody sailing !

There won't be any speed sailing for a while yet. The lake level at 31 March was only 0.61 (we need 0.85 to sail) so, nearly 7 months now with very low lake level.Ridiculous. I'd say there is no need to drain that lake like they do. We need you to talk to your employers Dan and get them to see the waste of their ways. Costs $70,000 each time they open the lake up and it looks to be unnecessary many of the times. I'm surprised the rate payers put up with the expense.

Hey Mike hope your well. It's been a while but was good to get baco on the water,  Dan was out teaching today.

Yeah the rain we had was barely enough to get waterdown to the lake Its ECan that opens uo the lake so even us christchurch residents will be paying for the opening! Yeah i agree huge cost! The lake and water is getting pretty political now so will be interesting to see if anything changes.

It was supposed to be 20knots, maybe I was too late and missed the 20knot bits, still I had a few planing runs so I had fun.
