Test of Light wind gear in 8 to 13 kts (measured), Carbon Art Custom 74/121  Mauisails TR7 8.4m  USA Custom 40/42.  Planed 90% of tme, sail didn't feel heavy as the other day (when used constant curve soft mast,) so this is what I'll take with me on my winter trip.  Wind picked up a little bit maybe got to 10 to 16 kts, (not measured) so I decided to stop, just don't like sailing with big gear.   I can see Foiling having appeal, being able to sail with a smallish sail in light winds,  Hmm will I do it?  Stropo and Boz got going and started having fun on smaller gear than me.

Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU. the desperation of a windsurfer is a pitiful thing. It really does show the extent of our addiction.  It was actually a very forgetable sail in a crappy SEly, but after the disappointment of the last month it felt so soooo good to get just a few half decent runs Smile. First sail with my Tribal WS 33, felt pretty good with the Falcon 113 and Firewing 7.0 across the chop.  Im with you Hardie, i just dont like big gear. Should get myself a 7.5 though. THinking about a HSM Speedfreak as a "pumpable" light wind sail?

Stretchy, good to see the holes in the cheese finally aligned, even if they were only small.

Spent the day down at Bridgetown with my Chicky for our wedding Aniv today.

Soon to be some big kit on the market (yes, my relationship with my BIG girl with the lovely fat arse is soon to end) as the foil thang is going to be a new creative way of hurting myself.

Biggest sail will be a 7.8 in the next week or three.
