Got sick of no wind on the weekends so took the day off Cool.

Pretty patchy southerly today but still alot fun, did some long runs out the back to do my NM.

Good sailing with Glynn and a ring in from NSW Cool.

Gear IS107/90, Gun GSR 7.1, Job37/32 best speeds on the 90 but not by muchSmile

Gr8 sailing with Mike having a day off work also joined by Justin Lord.

Wind was south and light on the low tide but filled in later and went sse as the high tide chop came in.

I arrived for an after work sail just as Glynn, Vando and Justin got of the water. They had had a big session on 7m sails, taking advantage of the low tide. The wind was gusty but good enough for my 7.1. I headed up to the mangroves. The water depth was about 4 feet and the chop was OK and I looking forward to a good session. On my third run, I connected with something big and solid (either a turtle or dugong) and was launched over the front. No damage to me, but I damaged the fin box, and the new tribal pointer now looking like a weed speed. See photos below
