sboardcrazy (24363km):  5-8kts SSw then after 2.30hrs a few patches of 12-14kts Coal Point, NSW, AU 7.8m OD - 115 Xcross - 38cms makani weedie Had a head cold and couldn't get into work so I decided to go for a float.I didn't expect much so I wasn't disappointed. Actually it was just what was needed.. I'd been out 2 1/2hrs and was pretty stuffed and then a few gusts started to come through. Those 5 or so longer runs made it all worthwhile! Bliss I love that combo in about 15kts and there wasn't much chop so it was very comfortable effortlessly planing along.. Tony & Andrew got sucked out as because I was planing and then they killed the best of the wind.. I've had my play- now I can work well tomorrow..
Used to be I was the only one desperate enough to go out in these conditions..

Plodded around for 2 1/2 hrs but I enjoyed the lovely scenery and had a rest over at the sand islands..wish I'd had a camera..
