Melville Beach, WA, AU

A bit more wind than expected, best was when the heavy rain squall hit. Enjoyable slashing through the rain with stronger but still quite controllable wind.

125 Rocket, 7.5 Turbo, 33 speedweed then 40 pointer. Better with the pointer because speeds generally slow and speedweed needs a bit of pace.

The 25.328 knot 2 second speed that ka72.com computed for this run is an artifact. The correct top speed is around 21.3 knots. This is an illustration why all GPS analysis software needs accuracy (SDoP) filters, like GPSResults uses. Details at http://boardsurfr.blogspot.com/2017/05/overstating-speed-by-4-knots.html

Note that I don't mean to pick on you. The only reason I discovered this was that I was specifically searching for such artifacts on files downloadable from ka72.com, and this happened to be the first file where I saw this issue. But I thought I'd bring it to your attention.
