Good to get a nice sailing session in this late in the year. Air temperature between 12C and down to 9C in the rain squalls. I was toasty warm in my 4mm of rubber all over.
Chased around with Isaac until the old fella broke down just as the best squall of the day came through (high 20's).
I launched into the rain at the start of it but was pretty much blinded having forgot my goggles. So much power. Nearly getting hauled over the front but the board was pushing down and sticking to the water so much it felt like I had a big lump of weed on the fin. Saw just over 37 peak, but felt like it should have been a lot more. I will have to find a way to get the mast foot back further on this board so I can get it to fly more.
Short but sweet session on the IS87, KA Koncept 5.8m and Tribal weedspeed 27cm. GW-52 GPS.
This spot still has what it takes to bring a big smile to my dial.
