Tuesday 30^th May – windsurf *** sunny periods + Become Grandparents for the first time :)

Woken at 5.30 this morning by our son Rob saying our first Grandson had arrived !!! :) sadly, traumatic for poor Hannah who is very poorly at the moment, our love and best wishes for a speedy recovery, the good news is the little fella at 8 lbs 14 oz is doing great!

There was some wind forecast today so after lunch and with the wind in the west I headed to Levington a couple of hours before high water so perfect. With the side shore wind gusting to 20 mph I rigged 8.5 and went out on the big Xantos. After a few floundering runs the wind filled in all be it very gusty but I did get going and had some fun reaching back and forth with loads of boats out on the water.

Off to see the new arrival tomorrow – can’t wait:)
