Canton Beach, NSW, AU 15-24kt SW || 0730-1130 || 118 Manta, 7.8OD, 33 Gun/34MUF

Bobbing around for the first hour or so, then someone flicked the switch! Starting at around 15kt and building nicely as the morning went. Only a small handful of other sailors and one kiter. Great weed conditions and really flat water.

Experimented with two new weed fins. The Gun 33 despite perhaps a bit small for the combo held on pretty well. The 34 Maui slalom, though a little less lift and upwind ability was very quick and held on rock solid. Both from windsurfingshop.com.au (thanks Gareth Cool).

Have only recently acquired my 3 largest sails, and it was a good experience today having one of them at the edge of being overpowered (at least for a 70kg sailor, anyway).

Good to be out again after a long time of no sails.

jp 90 TRX 5.9 - bit underdone fair bit of waiting for gusts - but they were great when they did come.

just about 1 hr of decent and steadier wind, would need a bigger board to enjoy those conditions, will bring the RS5 next time. Was a nice day out , the usual people now it feels like a family, everyone relaxed Smile

Great distance Andrew and you still got all the jelly beans. Great work. I went to Budgie after winding past Canton at about noon. Sorry I missed you.

Nice work Andrew with the big distance and all those experiments. Wondering if you will hang onto all those beans tonight 😎?

Made my day to see Roar out and about. Wish I was there.

Great work Andrew. Hopefully you get to keep all those jellybeans after George posts. But looking at Craig's numbers you'll have at least 3 beans :) Well done buddy.
