Andrew Haigh (48951km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Mistral Speed 95 and 7.0 and 18 delta. Normal story big forecast, but not much delivered. Still it was super flat, super weedy and the rain stayed away so can't complain.
sboardcrazy (24363km): 12-23kts SSW Buff Pt Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 89falcon - 6.6m KA koncept - 18 cm delta 89falcon 7m OD - 18 delta 79 falcon 6.6m Koncept 18 delta Wow finally a full planing session! Gusts were hard to grab and didn't last long but fun! Finally worked out if I'm planing the 18cm can take me everywhere without running aground.. Always looked like just above had decent wind but it didn't come down and reach me.. Enjoyed gybing - better with the 6.6m although hard to snag a gust for the exit. Looking at my tracks I got the 2 sec , nm , alpha all in the one run! Poor Georgio- he must think he has a target on his back.. I decided to go for a bearaway and then a long sweeping gybe at the end.. Flying in the bearaway and into the gybe..eek!!!!!!! G is about 60m away and on collision course..pulled out of it..my fault. It wasn't that crowded and I hadn't checked for that gybe.. I did after that.. 18cm held great in the flats and if I was careful in the chop with the 6.6m but couldn't hold the 7m in the chop.. As Frothie would say Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!! GPS said 29.99kts..bugger so close.. Milsy , Geogio, Lyds, Wayne , Andrew , Mick , youngens + othere but I'm too tired to think of them..
Bostonfoil (17127km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU JP 92 KAR 7.1/6.3 Delta 20 The Wind just didn't come in today. It threatened but avoided us in the end. Should have opted for the big gear. Enjoyed the nice, chilled out vibe at Buff. Great to hang out and not be in a rush, Sailing wise I struggled all day again with the rig. Never felt comfortable and couldn't make ground upwind. Rarely being fully powered up didn't help. Disappointed with the alpha again and my hour is embarrassing!
