Jetlag (10627km): Gusty afternoon @ Primbee, NSW, AU Good turnout for what ended up being a fairly mellow session. Highlight was some nice smooth water for gybes on the inside. Naish SP95, Loft RB 7.0, Unifiber Antiweed 26
TERRY (44267km): Primbee, NSW, AU Rolled up at 12 just as the wind started up, not as forecast, more wind in the middle but on and off and moving around, a few runs behind the jetty but very flukey. Tabou 95l Rocket NP 5.8 Evo 7 new sail hard to rotate, bad back coming.
bushfire (26346km): Kanahooka, NSW, AU SSW 5 - 20 knots A late afternoon sail - couldn't decide whether to foil or board - went the latter and had fun. Wow, I've lost a bit of sailing fitness over this largely windless May. The wind was very patchy - good fun bearing away in the gusts but hard work making the ground back up. I thought I might have to drift home (again!) but the wind come back in to keep me on the plane - well mostly. The chop wasn't as big as I was expecting but still good fun. No flat water in this session. SV Fox 105, R8 7m, Drake DW 38
Matt R (17128km): Primbee, NSW, AU. Rocket 108L, OD7m, Guns 29/50. Not quite as forecast but still a fun session.
nudie (5779km): Primbee, NSW, AU Tabou Speedster 118 + EVO 9 7.0 + UFO Fins Custom = comfortable but needed more wind Was good to catch up with everyone. Got Council to cut the grass after some Stop/Go and car moving Tommorrow looks like another good day!
Eckers (12204km): The forecast promised so much, delivered so little. At least I got to sniff the new sail smell in Nudie's van! |
