Wind was pretty good for a north easterly at this time of year. Good to see Ken and a couple of others out making the most of the sunny conditions.

Left work earlyish this morning hoping for something but with the river forecast looking dodgy and no wind on the observations i figured Mandurah could be worth a shot. Cobblers was nice and flat....with no wind. Hmm i havent been to Island point yet, so off i went. Driving over the dawesville cut was windy with whitecaps in the ocean so maybe Island point was going to be ok......Nope, nice and flat, no wind..

Ok maybe Shoalwater? It was marginal but doable, and nice to get planing after what seems forever.

Should have just gone to the river but it was a nice morning for a little drive.

First sail in a few weeks. Light breeze but nice weather to be out on the river. Cannonball was planing nicely way up wind towards the freeway.
