Peel Inlet, WA, AU

not a nice day for a sail

rocked up to liptons to be greeted by lightish winds and lots of rain

 boz turned up and decided to rig up so i followed suit.

wind by this stage had freshened a bit so i hit the water

not so bad planing easily on a 6,2

only went downhill from there as slugger/slasher had turned up in the mister whippy van and killed the wind

returned to the carpark where the brains trust had some serious procrastination going on

stood around talking bulldust for way too long i derigged in the hope it would bring the wind back in

kinda worked but i didnt bother to hang around much longer.

nice to catch up with everyone and cheers for the fire shane.

used a 107 iso with a 33 tribal weedy and a 6.2 severne R6 od proto

Waited 3 hrs today then decided I might as well take out the 8.6 and at least get a little exercise. The wind gods who had already had a pretty good day then decided to really rub it in by sending through the biggest gust of the day to completely overpower me and send me into survival mode. Good day though and got to meet a lot more of the GPS crew

+1 on that FrozenBob. I was getting suss when the Mr Whippy Van, did not have Choc bombs, Flakes, Cups or even power for the Coffee machine. Then I saw the driver...you cant tell me he wasnt on release!
