Patchy 5-20kts NW - WNW Teralba, NSW, AU

 7m NCX - 115 Xcross - 38 makani weedie

 7.8m OD + Xcross

Got there and it looked really good - pretty consistent 15-20kts..died a little as we rigged and only got about 15-20mins of ok wind..enjoyed the lovely light NCX and the board was fun although slower on the takeoff than the RS4..Came in and rigged the 7.8m but not many gusts and hard to get on the plane. It was great fun when you did get one though..

Starting to really enjoy Teralba with a bit of wind..good for fun without worrying about the stats..Smile

Russ ( got the best of it ) Byron( brings his own little capsule of wind), Andrew , Lyds and later Jeff. Mick B but he didn't go out and Mick.

zzz- looks like it came back in after I left but I've got to work sometime..Wink

Starting to get my act together and aim for some gybes in the gusts with the big sail..hard work though!

CA70 and 7.7m. Looked good when I arrived, Byron had even rigged his 7.0. Turned off the minute I was ready and only ever threatened to come back.

Normal crew of desperados - (sue, Lyds, Byron, Jeff, Russ) and a late brave attempt on a 90 litre board! by Mick S.

s2 venom 7.7, exocet RS4, select v max39

up and down like a yo-yo but sun shinning and sailing with friends it is a good spot to sail in nw direction.

still waiting to get wind and use a sail smaller than 7.7 the long dry spell continues.

Did Mick survive? I was thinking it looked pretty dodgy for trying that combo..😉

I'm surprised you could stay upright gybing in those windless patches..

Yep. Finally made it back with a lucky water start 200 meters and a tad down wind of home. Very lucky indeed as I had a blowed out main panel due to a hand push help to rotate sail for the water start....The sail might be considered 'kinda old' to those younger than I, but, with a sticky back patch this sail will be my flag ship sail at green island. Thanks Byron for your help today. I was a mile out in configuration setup and will try again tomorrow. Exocet RS2 90l sailworks 6.6 m 250 weedy......3 wrongs will really wreck a good idea. My lesson for the day.
