Based on the forecasts I felt pretty comfortable rigging the NX 7.8. Unfortunately, I launched around 2 PM just as the wind picked up from gusting to 20 to gusting to 25. That extra 5 knots was a deal breaker for me to feel comfortable. I made a couple of runs, said to myself "wtf am I doing here, time to go home", which is where my mind was anyway. I think it would have been a great session had I been on the NX 6.2, or maybe the NX 7.0... | ||||||||||||||||||
