A nice sunny 24 degree winter day. Wind was a bit patchy but managed to stay planing most of the time with the 7m. Wind picked up when i had already packed up. Looked like a few were enjoying the winds at Lucky Bay.

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Great day, warm with light wind (to start with).

Rocket 125, 7.5 Turbo, 40 pointer, then 31 and 29 weedy fins to get over the sand bank.

One planing gybe.

Good to see Lunny, Kenny and Boz. I got off the water just as the strong wind came in. Boz arrived and when I left he was looking fast.

What a fun little session at Melville, catch up with the usual people was good. Nearly talked myself out of sailing as it was quite gusty and only bought the small AB 54 down today. That changed by 3:30 and the wind kicked in, nice to sail in surprisingly warm weather even had a little tinge of summer as I was packing up with a warm breeze compared to the last few sails. Take it while you can they say got a feeling tommorow will be a bit chillyLaughing Looking forward to a road trip in the morning bells and whistles work can wait.

I packed the car last night in anticipation of wind this afternoon. That is always tempting fate, I know, but I wanted to leave straight from work today.

I woke up this morning with vertigo, and expecting it to pass, said I would be at Melville this afternoon.

It didn't pass. It got worse.

I feel really cheated because I finished work early and it was so lovely and windy and warm out there, and I wanted to be sailing but it didn't seem wise when I can't even walk straight.

Anita Pity you couldn't get out was a nice day tad windy though by the late afternoon, Lunny had no intentions of sailing wasn't the best when I got down decided to watch but when the gust came in though couldn't just sit there. Mind you missed the biggest gust when I was packing up water was being windswept of the waves would have been a good 35kn, always tommorow.Sealed
