wow first time for everything nice northerly and 26 degrees in mid july.

No one at wello when i got down so headed out alone and sail over to many to find clive out.

Had a few runs with him then sailed down wind to kite beach. weed was terrible between many and lota.

Back to wello to find Trev coming out for the night shift .

Love the dedication Trev.

Anyway thats prob it for sailing till GI whoohoo

Wello Point. 144 starboard carve, 9m gaastra GTX with both cams bust, 52 cm fin. Got down to wello 35min before sunset and about an hour before total darkness. Wanted to sail - so very keen. No one in sight. Turns out Vando's car was in car park but he was visiting mates on other side of waterloo bay. As I riigged he appreared and I was able to ask him what size he was on by shouting from the beach, as he stopped and did not do a full gybe. It was very North, so there was chop. Not flat behind bank and tide was high so bumpy with 9m to hold on to; but fun.
