Paradise Beach, NSW, AU checked foxtel weather at lunch and saw a weather warning for Illawarra & south coast with damaging gusts to happen this afternoon. It was the first I had heard of it so headed down to Paradise. After waiting around with Gav and John all arvo I found out they lied. Still managed to catch a few very warm gusts and test out my new lightwind fin design, inspired by Keith and Fangmans threads on Seabreeze. Considering the wind quality it did well, much better than the 26cm mxr I had been using which was a weed magnet, always felt like crabbing and unstable bearing away. It will require more testing I told the wife.
