Lunny (42007km): Melville Beach, WA, AU Yesterday i said it wasnt that cold. Today it certainly was cold. Early on you could have rigged anything you liked and it would have been the wrong choice, really gusty with almost no wind to crazy strong gusts. Filled in Ok for an hour or so but maaan it was rough in places so not so easy for speed. Still good to be challenged by the rough stuff though. Kenny (16394km): Melville Beach, WA, AU Another gusty winter day but this time colder than yesterday. Got down after work when there was no wind. Rigged small anyway but put on a largish fin. I got on the water and soon knew that I should have gone with the smaller fin as the 34 was hard to control in the gusts. Some of the gusts well over 30 knots but impressed with Lunny and Slowy powering through the squalls. Had to put the boom way down to keep the board on the water. Boz rocked down as I was leaving and had the beach to himself and Jonski. Jonski said it was the choppiest conditions he had seen! He did well on the 7.5. Good to see a Mandurah mobster at lucky bay. 5.5 tr7, 91 futura, 34 tectonics falcon | ||||||||||||||||||
Boz (39142km): Melville Beach, WA, AU Was very late gettng down to Melville , Ken was finshed for the day and Jonski was making the best of the gusty and choppy conditions. Just enough to get wet whole 7 k's, hopefully wind stays for a bit of a bash for the weekend. AB54, Kar 6.3 Vector 28 |
