Sailed with Ben at Holloways. Started a little later than I would have liked to .....but you get that.

Wind changed direction towards the end of the sesion which left me with a little walk but to car.

Was very rough today out wide ...used my Carbonart SL55 with the KA Kyote 6.6...seemed ok.

Ben sailed very well and was on the water when I arrived ........great effort to sail in those conditions

and not get into the footstraps.....looked good planning out there.

Maybe another sail tomorrow!!

Nice gentle sail, first one in 9 months...sheesh. Grovelled for a while then got some cruisey planing runs in. Nice to get back on the water.

Nice afternoon sailing with Freddy Burke.  Would have to be the most kites I have seen in the Southern waters off the beach.  Good steady wind for the majority of the sesh in rough lumpy conditions due to the tide being on the higher side.  No speed records today but had some good planing runs- kept well upwind with the big fin (probably too much which I thought I would never say!).

Caught some air off the swell on a few occasions but found the clodhoppers a bit slippery on the board which makes me more determined to get into those straps!  Thinking I might have to organise some new grip & another board which I am currently on the look out for.  Front feet in again at times today but way too rough to be focusing too much on the straps.

Freddy looked like he was having some good fun on his small board which I described as being a "paddlepop stick", that is if I were to attempt getting on it!  Sailing back to point and washing the gear off for a quick derig really is great!

Had a yarn with Freddy when packing up.  Keen for another sail tomorrow if anyone's interested in joining?

Thats quite an impressive afternoon in the Holloways Slopfest Freddo - Cracking effort.

Sailpilot - good to see you back in the drink mate. Your old mate "Troy the Shit Stirer" aka Trojan, had a nice little sail last week as well up here in the tropical far north. Thought he was going to take home a new friend it went that well !!!

Benny The Lad - its like sex mate...just stick the fn thing's in. It wont hurt !!!!Wink and the upside is that there can be no regrets. See you on the beach this arvo.
