Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

Exocet 135 Severne Convert 6.7 Black Project 47.5

Lighter wind afternoon sail with Billy & Freddo.  Looked promising when rigging up so opted for the smaller sail- shortly after getting out on the water, the wind just decided to drop off...  needed more horsepower!

Ended up doing a lot of grovelling- felt about as useless as a cashmere knitted condom today!  Managed to catch a little gust to get planing staying upwind to sail back to point at the end of the sesh, so I guess that's one saving grace.

Freddy sailed well in the conditions as expected and kindly gave me some advice which is always appreciated.  Billy had a quick pit stop to rig bigger- a wise move.

Ah well a crappy sail with good company is still better than none at all... Cool

Well...certainly a lot lighter than yesterday....really struggled to try to keep the board moving.

So glad Billy texted and said to bring the  RRD otherwise maybe a noshow. Another walk up the beach

at the end of the session...starting to become the norm!! Not much to say about todays session other

than it was not one of the better ones.....probably better than Bill and Ben staying at home playing with

their flower pots.Undecided

Fred was the master today. Blatting back and forwards in an ever decreasing breeze. Headed in for a horsepower change but never really recovered. Landed a single gibe for the arvo but it was to slow to register. Young Ben had horsepower issues as well but appeared to enjoy himself none the less.

Great arvo with the lads.
