el Bog. wnw 10-20kts

On water by 9:30, on my 6.2OD and falcon 78l with a 325BPR. Initial run in and out was near overpowered, so I adjusted settings and went again. Shortly the wind swung more north and dropped, leaving me a ways from home and barely able to deepstart. I floundered back and forth trying to keep upwind but was losing every time. I began expecting a big walk when it kicked around west again and over the next hour, I clawed back to base with some fun runs and the ocassional buttery corner.

Ate some and went back again, but only lasted another 30m. the wind intensified and i had some sketchy moments, convincing me to quit while ahead.

Didn't see a single soul all day, but 1st sail since last day of July, just glad to blow the cobwebs out.
