Elmo (31413km):  JP HF 135L, NP RSR E6 7.8m, NP rs Flight AL, Got the call from Strop that he was sailing nearby so eventually got my crap together and toddled down, didn't hit the water till about 1720 so time was of the escence. Stropp looked to be struggling with the 6.6m so I went Tim and rigged big, got changed as soon as I plugged in the board the wind filled in, First run I had the boom to high for the winds and ate shuit trying to hook in from up high, droped the boom a couple of inches which helped. The wind was quite gusty and the 7.8m was waaaaaaaayyyyy to large for the bullets, fortunately it had a tendency to fly up wind when hit by some big gusts. A fair bit of poo was ingested tonight including a boom in the face on a wonky fall but it was good fun.
Stroppo was killing it and getting it nicely dialed in, saw him do his first gybe, still on the water but nice and flowing. | ||||||||||||||||||
