Primbee, NSW, AU

falcon 89l sv od 6.2 delta xt 22

Still no confidence in that delta fin,can tell the board will be much faster when i stop the spin out. So stayed in the shallows, but it got a little bit to shallow, and hit a sand bar down near the caravan park. Result one broken mast and a damaged boom clamp long walk back. Rerigged and out again. was not as keen to go in the shallows, and struggled in the chop with the small fin.  Now in the market for a 430 sdm mast and sdm boom clamp both severne.

Primbee, NSW, AU    Where did that come from?  43kts W at 9.00 on the green pole, pretty viscious from 8.00 till 2.00

Super strong then zero, a bit of waiting down at Windang, still have not learned how to sail the Manta.

The Westerly and low water and a big fin kept me out past the log, need a calmer day.

Tabou 75l Manta    NP 5m RS6  out of mothballs and big enough.

Lunchtime WNW @ Primbee, NSW, AU

Quick blast with Terry & Chris. Water shallow to no deep bearaways. Had a few nauti attempts but never got breeze for the full length. Dropped off totally and left Terry & I to walk/grovel back from Windang. Looks like it filled in SW later in the arvo.

Loft RB 6.3, iSonic W49, Home Brew 20cm Weedie.

Glad you got out Chris.Bugger about the damage! The board survived?

I have a 20cm BP 50 weedspeed  I use at Budgy when it's deeper ( 25cms deep) It grips great and it's good in the chop.

The 22cm delta xt should grip fine in flatter water but probably  not as good in decent chop.Hope you find a solution. ☺

yeah no damage to the board sue. I picked up some mxr weed speeds that most of the guys use, just had to file down the tuttle box, which i have done now. Weed speed style fins are the go i think.

Bad luck about the damage Chris.  It was super shallow today.  Great speed Jetlag.  Also for everyones info there is a small buoy marking possibily a crab pot about 50m to the North of the two white poles near the caravan park.  The Western white pole of the two.
