Melville Beach, WA, AU

Nice cheeky afternoon sail down at Lucky Bay.. Very shallow so I stuck inside the sand bar and just cruised back and forth punctuated with lots of floating. Wind kind of filled in just as Anita turned up :)

Looks like I might have jagged the best wind for once. Seabreeze was looking marginal but doable, then it dropped out so I put some washing on and then decided to head down to Melville just in case. Jase was there and looking keen, and despite the windmeter showing only 3- 12 knots I decided to join him. I was planing most of the time and it was worth going out. It has been a miserable week. I needed that. I might have stayed dry and warm but the fin clipped the sandbar mid gybe and I went over the front.

Pelican Point, WA, AU

Light wind but better than none, chiily but sunny.

Stayed dry until coming in at the finish, thought 'low tide, better not get too close' hopped off, up to my neck!

Jase, the wind might have been light but you were sailing like a champ out there today. Lovely U turns leaving very a smooth U shaped wake, and the fast tacks reminded me of watching the wavesailors at Ho'okipa last year. Some nice bear aways happening too. Great style!
