A rough ride on the CA70 and 7.7m. Looked good and was for the first half hour as I worked up towards the slips, think I could see Jeff in the distance and then it tunred off. The swell was horiffic, lots of huge multi-million dollar cruisers were returning from out at sea and making a real mess of the water.

An act of faith to even go to Peelie as seabreeze showed bugger all when we left. Not much wind but we gave it a go, floating & occaisionally planing till it swung  N & became almost good. Tibor, Pete, Norm. 7.7, RS3, 32 weedie.

I should have mentioned I was talking about the cruiser wake Andrew struck. Maybe it was the group we saw going past Pulbah a while ago- at least 15 multi million dollar cruisers in convoy. Even in the boat their wake made the lake look like monster moguls..Frown We were crashing through it like we were out at sea.I'd hate to have been on a board..
