Tonight was an excersize in optimism.
After work Foil with Stropp down at the Great Barrier reef also known as "The Commodores Reef", Got down there it looked light but doable, following Strops line to avoid the reef worked a treat getting out but the wind was quite light did manage to get on the foil for a bit even breached a couple of time before stacking it.
Got a couple more lift of's but on the whole it was a chugging session which was made interesting by the wind switching from W to SW whilst over the other side of the estuary which made the mouth of the cut look awefull big and awefully close so we worked tonight of getting the gear to chug as high up wind as we could.
Not much sailing but a fun(?) learning season
