October season, day 5 in a row and counting. Yesterday Goldilocks came out to play, today Murphy poked his head in. Blowing 25 to 30 when I rigged and hit the water, got some nice runs in the chop, 37 peak, then Murphy showed up and buggered up the wind. Had to slog back in and the wind kept dropping. Tried out the EVO8 5.6 with a 430 mast bottom and 400 top, much better performance; a lot more stable and felt more slippery. Got a chance to try out the new 80, much stiffer and drives a lot better off the back foot. Pretty quick in the chop until the wind died.

I was watching the wind and wondering if you got caught out when the wind dropped - big time Surprised.  Happy to read that the replica 80 is feeling good and performing well.

Looking forward to more vicarious living through your postings! Off to Bonaire in the morning...
