Dorans, TAS, AU  After work sail, was going to sail Mortimer until I saw 5 out and 10 cars at Dorans. Good company but wind a bit patchy. IS 76, Blade 5.3, Select Eagle 27

Port Sorrell, TAS, AU. FF89 and 52, Z31cm and 22cm, 6.2 Warp.

Well what is there to say except what a waste of time and a 7 hour return drive for nothing. Forecast looked good 25/30 knots so Ferg and I headed up. It was good to see Kaleb there too who made the most of the conditions, well done. Got back to Hobart late in the day and it was blowing its nuts off. I am sure Dorans would have had some great runs yesterday and better speeds.

Great effort to get up to Port Sorrell guys, shame it didn't turn it on this time. I found Doran's was very up and down and patchy, not quite enough Westerly in it, OK at times but certainly not a classic.
