Manly RQYS NP RS:ONE CONVERTIBLE 7.8 m Windfoil

First go on a windfoiler in very, very light wind. Finally managed to pump up and fly when a few stronger puffs came through. Enjoyable sensation and easier than I thought it would be. The equipment is on loan to the RQYS for  members to try.

Light wind desperation sail at the local. Started off with Vintage Formula, 7.5 Ezzy combo for a slogfest with a few planing runs. Wind then dropped further so  experimented with the 7.5 Ezzy rig adapted onto a recently acquired 1984 vintage Wally, complete with removable daggerboard. I forgot how bad mannered those old things were, but still good for a muck about. Need to create some grip on the deck though.
