I left work after lunch to get a session in before the aftyernoon storms came through and the bank overtopped at 3.30. I arrived at 12.30. The general concensus was 7m sails. My 112 is still in repair so my choice was either the party barge or 55 wide speed board. I chose the party barge as the wind was a bit marginal to begin with. It built slowly over the afternoon and I was nicely powered up on the bear off towards the end. The run in and bear off to the bank on the 137 was certainly interesting in the standing waves at the begining of the run. My best speed was on my last run, a SE QLD PB on this board. First session for the season in boardies, Good company, good wind and a nice angle to the bank, all in all a great afternoon.
