Tone (3760km):
2359 days ago Sandy Pt, shallow Inlet Good sail with 6.5overdrive on the 112l starboard, wind 8 to 15 most of the day somw peaks to 25knts, 35cm fin spun out more than the 40cm after trying the 7.8m for two runs middle of the day- so next time. &.8m sail acted poorly an, batten over boom found to be shortened as shaped forward solid part shoved back into into the tubular part ( Thanks Daffy) with the batten not into end of plastic pocket by 2cm, meant acted floppy and could bend around the camber inducer- a blunter entry foil at mast end and the rotation was affected- A LOT, in fact spent an hour last sessio trying to rig it- and at least 20min this sesh. Anyway, the 6.5 and 112l were great in the aftewrnoon, and jibing was attempted and success was had about half the time, but not carving boom to boom yet.
used two GPSs again- GT31 and the GW60, the watch being slower.... but it recorded the nautical mile and GT did not...
