Melville Beach, WA, AU

First decent sea breeze at melville. NP RSR E6 7.0, RRD Xfire V8 114 [37 Tectonics Pheonix] then V6 98 [29 Tribal weed].

Good to get the eye in again with the slingshots at Melville. Lots of people out!

Almost a month since my last sail! Felt it... Brand spankers 7.9m '18 KA Race. 112, CLSL3 36. Rigged for slalom angles but didn't have the arms for that. Had a bit of fun with Rowan and Shane doing fig 8 but had to keep stopping for breath. Normally this fin goes in the bigger board, and I rarely use a 7.9m on the 112. Did a few downwind squirts and am surprised by the speed. Setup felt really balanced and was smoking on all angles- I think its improved upwind from last year. Now I just need to improve my fitness so I can sheet in exiting the gybes. Was fully lit at times and that made me notice how much muscle I wasted this year from too much sitting at the desk. Summer is here so hopefully can fix that.

Your wasting away with old age Chris, first the muscles go, then the memory and finally the speed! Hope the kids are great and Kath is keeping your well fed. Give the desk up before it's too late.
