Carlisle St, Safety Bay, WA, AU Slalom Series Round 1, 186 ltr Formula., 8.6m and 50cm Weedy !

Well that didnt go quite to plan but good fun anyway. The wind simply didnt show up so used the big girl however still underpowered and somehow fell off before the start of Races 1 and 2. Got a good start in race 3 and was leading the pack by so much i even had chance to look down at my watch to notice i was racing along at a whole 5 knots. Good to catch up with Stretch and Roger. 

NP rsr e6 7.8m, NP RS Flight "EL Stumpo"

Very short session at the Bouvard yacht club with Slagga and Strop which was mostly a grovel fest until you managed to get a very short gust hit you.

Did get up on the foil a few times testing out El Stumpo a shortened mast for beginners,which works a treat eliminating nose dives.

A nice way to cap of the arvo, Hats of to Slugga who got out and managed to score a few good gusts and blitzed bith Strop and myself.

Stropps new Ausie UFO looks the bussiness, just got to figure out how to fix the rockets into the tubes and ignite in the water and he'll never have to pump again

Oh and if you here Slugga go past hurling abuse at something and then pleading an appology, thats's just him trying to sort out his voice activated GoPro

First race day of the season, not very racy and bloody hard work. Race 1 P4, Race 2 last out of those who made it to the start and I was a few minutes late, race three in group 2 p6 after floating round the course and watching all the lightweights float past a bit faster.

Not a bad day though and a couple of team mates on the course too.
