Coal Point, NSW, AU 6.6 Hucker 110 Naish. Fun sail with all of my mates (no-one). Amazing to have such a strong Nor-easter at 1030. Would have liked to have kept sailing as it was picking up but work calls. Hope everyone can sail this arvo, should be good.

18 -20kts ENE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

6.2m OD- 87ltre isonic - 38 BP 50 weedspeed.

What a difference a day makes!

Last session I was ready to bin the isonic..today was fun! fun! fun..Tongue out It was hard to tell how windy it was but Matt came in and said it was a good 20kts over the far side but it was a pain to get there so take the larger board.( I'd usually be on the 79ltre falcon in 20kts. )

I was cursing him as I went out ( 6.2m is too small Yell) .Once over  there it was great !Tongue out

After the last time where I didn't trust the 20cmfin in the chop I put the larger 25cm deep one in.What a difference! I was nicely powered up and could go for it. Love the board!!!

Norm and Matt were taking photos and videos so I raced back and forth hamming it up for the camera.  I  did one nice planing gybe but I  don't think they got it (technical issues and difficult filming conditions). Loved heading out into the small  chop well powered and it gybes well.and  Mainly stayed out in the chop as the lake is very shallow at the moment and the fin was dragging in the thick weed in the flats.

Pushed myself doing short runs for the camera but the heart held ok .Smile

I  thought it was my lack of skill causing me to have issues getting into the rear strap but it seems I had them too wide and flat .  I'll make them narrower and higher and hopefully that should fix things.

Bruce you were fast yesterday. Wind a good 20 at times. Did you forget to wear your speedo machine again.?
