Sometimes, the best sessions are those that are unexpected. Sensational arvo in the "Holloways Smooth" with Freddo. Got sick and tired waiting for the cricket to start out of a rain delay, took a well intentioned walk to the computer to find that Meteye was advertising a bit of breeze at the "Smooth". Nice little 13-15 kt afternoon breeze on a very full tide. 

Blatted around with Fred for 80 odd mins I think - very pleasant indeed. There was some wildlife in the water, plenty of bait fish and I think a school of mackerel cruising out wide. I think once again, as we were pretty well on each other tails all arvo, our numbers will be very similar.

Used: 125 AHD Diamond, 7.5 T4, 49 S10.

Very unexpected afternoon sail....was actually talking with Kel when 'Billy the kid' phoned and we were on the water virtually within the hour.

Billy sailed better than expected......he had not read the script...especially the part where I was supposed to go flying passed him.

Normally I can get going a bit earlier than Billy....but not today....I had a view of Billy from the back for 90% of the session.
