Coal Point, NSW, AU. Umm not much to add, the numbers say it all. Under powered, lots of weed, but still had a fun sail

12-18kts ENE Coal Point, NSW, AU

7m NCX - RS4 ( 111ltre) - 38 BP 50 weedspeed

This was a get back on the horse session..I came , I sailed , I survived..

Pretty nervous at first and I could have been on the 90ltre and 6.6m at times..Had to stop at the end of most runs to let the heart palps settle down but at least they did and I could continue..The BP slipped out a bit today..there was a lot of weed .I'm not sure if it was my technique or I need a 45degree larger weedy??

Started out just doing short runs out the front so I could come in if I had issues..playing back my tracks each run got a little more confident and longer..Laughing .

Went to the sand islands for the first time in a year . I only did one run but thats a start,

Happy I managed to get most of my gybes. Came in and realised the mast foot had slipped to the front of the track so I fixed it and out for one more run before the storm clouds killed it.

First time with the go pro..dumbarsse guide to go pros..Laughing well I didn't lose or drown it ..Wink The flymount says it can be mounted on the mast so you can see both sides But I couldn't see how and was in too much of a rush to bother today. I have no idea if i got any footage! Undecided.. I'll sus it out tomorrow and have a laugh..Wink I've ordered a book on how to use it as if I'm going to buy something that good I want to use it properly ( I'm into photography a bit).

It wouldn't turn off so I had to ring the shop and he said to take the battery out and then turn it off which worked. If I continue to have issues I have to take it back so we'll see ..

Slowly getting my confidence back..Smile

Tony , John on the foil and I then Andrew and Byron.
