Exocet RS Formula, TR8 8.4, Deboichet R13 70 - Wind ENE 15 knots

Great afternoon of racing at Marmong.   Was thinking about foiling but the wind was fairly strong and hadnt sailed formula for a while.   Really enjoyed pushing hard upwind and downwind with the guys, and the 8.4 with that board is a rocket downwind.

Tibor, Bruce and Ian were foiling, and doing really well.   Look forward to more tomorrow.

3 Formula races with the boys on foils and formula. First sail for 9 weeks and only the 19th sail this year.

Good to be on the water again.

NE15 knts. Hardest work just getting around the course with my super unfit body. ( Doc's orders ... do buggar all to recover from hole in macula op.)

And I followed orders to the letter. Eat drink and put your head down ..8 weeks and try sailing. What a shocker to the bod.  Completed two and bit of the  six or was it seven sprint races. Good numbers racing. Foil boards are now in the mix and gaining momentum. Formula 159, deb 70. maui 9.2 m

Mistral Devil, Pride Al  Flight foil, 6 and 7m Sailworks Retros. Did a few races, mix of formula and foils, bit underpowered on the 6 but nice with the 7...10-12knot E/S/E
