Full arvo of sailing. Meet Kaleb at Cremorne Beach at 1pm for a 1hr mission. I rigged the 7.0 and found it too hard going in pretty windy and at times half mast high waves. I pulled the plug after an hour or so and left Kaleb to battle it out on his own. Went to South Arm and sailed down to Howrah beach in an Easterly which was quite different. Was suprisingly very choppy and quite gusty with on off wind. Thanks Ferg for the lift back to get the car. Only posting from the South Arm run.

Well that was a stupid idea, don't think I'l be rushing into that again. Sailed upwind in crazy seas for 2hours. Then headed off the wind for a hell nightmare run home. I was actually unsure if I would be able to get back as the wind had picked up and the seas were out of control for slalom kit and 76kg of stupid human. Crashed not long after starting the hour home, managed to get up pretty quickly and them settled into some of the scariest sailing I've done on a slalom board in open waters. Coming over head high+ chop and dropping the face at 31 knots with other chop going at 90 degrees is not my idea of fun sailing. 7 minutes from end of hour disaster struck and I got lauched and bucked all over the place and had a nice wee crash, gear landed 10m downwind. I started swimming and one of the GPS's came off my arm, had to turn and swim back for it then held onto it with my teeth and swam like hell for the gear. bloody boom was straight down and it took me several flips to get the rig out. Would have had a nice 27.3ish if I had kept it together for the last minutes. Packed up and relocted for an hour wavesailing after that. I'm now in a bit of hurt all over. Fun day full of mixed emotions and a lot of fatigue.
