Fun NE down @ Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU. Good to meet some of the local crew and sus out the spot. Will surely need to spend some more time down here when it's a promising NE. It's only a little over 1hr from Jamberoo. I think it was only my second sail for the month. No wonder I was feeling shagged after an hr.

Late in the session, thought I'd go explore the weed beds, even though it was a bit light up there. Looks like some crazy flat water. I'll have to come back when it's fully lit!!

Godzilla 150L SW Revo 5.8m, NP Alu Foil.

Probably the windiest that Ive foiled in so far but it was great to go out and get a feel for it and sus out how the whole set up handles particularly in the chop and the gusts.

Kanahooka, NSW, AU NE gusty , over 20 knots

FOIL

Quite windy and choppy but had to go for it. Rigged small and went with the slalom foil. Very tentative for a start and struggled a bit for balance. Things got better, but it was still a challenge with the short sharp chop. Downwind was probably the easiest(!) but keeping the small sail powered up was tricky. I could feel the board getting blown around a bit when flying - probably a smaller board would be better with the wind above 20 knots. Seem to hit quite a few objects, mainly jellies I think, but a couple of harder ones as well. All in all was a great experience - learning all the time. The foils go well in these conditions! Good fun being out with Matt & Chris on foils & Ian on a slalom boardCool.
